Alpine Accounting, LLC (“Alpine Accounting,” “we,” “us”) is a bookkeeping, tax and notary firm at 430 Indiana St, Suite 100, Golden, CO 80401. This policy explains what information we collect through alpineaccountingco.com and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and message. Scheduling: when you book through our scheduler (Calendly), your name, email, phone number and the answers you give. Text messages: if you sign up, your mobile phone number and a record of your consent. Website analytics: basic information such as pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, collected through cookies by our website platform.

How we use it

To reply to you, schedule and hold appointments, provide the services you hire us for, send the text messages and emails you asked for, and understand which parts of our website are useful. We never sell your personal information.

Text messages (SMS) and your mobile number

We collect your mobile number only when you give it to us and agree to receive texts, for example through a sign-up form or a consent box on our website. We use it only to send the messages you signed up for and to respond to you.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the messaging service provider that delivers our texts, which may use your number only for that purpose.

You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below. Message and data rates may apply.

Who else handles your information

Service providers that run our website and services on our behalf: our website host and form provider (Squarespace), our scheduler (Calendly), our email provider (Google Workspace), our messaging provider for texts, and, for clients, our accounting and tax software (Intuit QuickBooks and ProConnect). They may use your information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law or professional rules require us to keep client records.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing Michael@alpineaccountingco.com. Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email, and from texts by replying STOP.

Security

We use multi-factor sign-in and the secure portals built into our accounting and tax software. Please don’t send Social Security numbers, account numbers or tax documents through this website, by email or by text. We’ll give you a secure upload link.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact
